God gives gifts in order that we may love Him and love others. While much of our love and service toward one another is facilitated through our worship services, small groups, and bible studies, there are a variety of additional opportunities for our members to serve our church family.

Serving Opportunities Available:

CHILDREN'S CHURCH

Volunteers are needed for our Children's Church on Sunday mornings. Contact Andy Simonson or the church office for more information.

GROUNDS & FACILITY

Each Wednesday from 8:00 - 12:00 is work day and you're invited to join in! If you enjoy working outdoors and you take pride in a well-maintained property, this team is a great fit for you!

HOSPITALITY

Do you have the gift of hospitality? Or do enjoy blessing others with food? Serving opportunities are available for Sunday mornings, special events, and on an as-needed basis.

MUSIC MINISTRY

The goal of the Music Ministry is to glorify God by helping others lead the congregation in praise and worship. The Praise Team provides the music during our Sunday morning service and special events.

CEF - GOOD NEWS CLUB

Good News Clubs only happen because of people like you! You can help organize and lead a club in your neighborhood school.

WELCOME TEAM & USHERS

Ushers are an important part of our weekend services—greet and welcome guests, pass out sermon notes, and assist with communion.

LIFE GROUP LEADERS

Life Group Leaders have a heart for Jesus and for people, and they are willing to facilitate group discussions and Bible studies.

LIFE GROUP HOSTS

Not quite ready to lead a group but you have a space you'd like to share? We may be able to connect you to a leader who is ready to lead but needs a space!

ENCOURAGEMENT/PRAYER TEAM

Encourage those who are experiencing hardships or illness by sending cards, making phone calls, visiting, and praying with those who are in need..

How Do I Volunteer?

There are as many ways to volunteer and serve at Pelican Bay Church as there are people. After all, for those who are Christians, service to the body of Christ is a primary way that we live out the gospel message [Matthew 25:40]. As someone who is new to our church, though, we want to serve you and see your spirit nurtured in this community before we ask anything of you.
