The Father of our Faith

Faith takes God at His word and lives accordingly. In Hebrews 11:8–16, Abraham demonstrated this faith by obeying God’s call, trusting His promises, and patiently looking forward to their fulfillment. Abraham’s righteousness was not earned but credited to him through faith as he rested fully on the character and promises of God. His life reminds us that true faith trusts God, obeys His Word, and looks beyond what is seen to the promises fulfilled in Christ.
